Lakes by the Bay - Regional Park The park is a total of 92.65 acres.
The plans are to develop 22 acres as baseball, soccer, football, basketball, softball, and skating parks. Parking is on the site as well as the proposed trailhead for horse trailers.
The plans include developing another 15 acres as picnic areas with canoe launches, shelters, tot lots, the splash playground (water park for young children) and the nature and recreation center. Parking is also on this site.
The remaining 55 acres are the conservation area with nature trails, rookery etc.
Also included are plans to extend (in the future) the conservation walkways to the newly acquired Environmentally Endangered Lands, located to the east of the park.
Lakes By The Bay Park is within the city boundaries
but will be a County REGIONAL Park. The County will pay to develop this park
